Where are you from?

I’m from New Zealand.

How long have you been in Mexico?

I’ve been in Mexico since early 2020. I spent 6 months in Chiapas, before moving to Querétaro.

How long have you been teaching English?

I’ve been teaching English for more than 10 years

How long have you been with UE?

I joined the United English team at the beginning of 2021.

Have you taught anywhere else other than UE?

I taught Academic English and General English at university and training schools in China for 15 years. I also taught in New Zealand and Indonesia. Before coming to United English, I taught at a high school in Chiapas and at another training school here in Queretaro.

What do you like about teaching at UE?

United English is a very professional organisation. The training and support for teachers and students is great!

What advice can you offer to language learners?

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes – fear is the greatest barrier to learning a language.
